I took this picture from the front of the yellow building with tower that you could see in the previous post. Ezt a kepet az elozo bejegyzesben lathato, sarga tornyos epulet elol keszitettem.
Walking on from the Bazilika in downtown Budapest, we get to a big square, Deák tér. Named after Ferenc Deák who was one of the greatest Hungarian politicians of all times, in the 19th century.
By the way, the biggest banknote in Hungary today, 20.000 Forint carries his portrait.
That's where all the subway lines meet and you can change from one to another.

I again, missed one month with the Subway Day... Már megint lemaradtam egy Metró Napról...
Well, I was in Budapest... Nos, Budapesten voltam...
Anyway, here is a newly renovated ceiling from Deák tér station. I liked the arrangement of these lamps. Na mindegy; íme egy nemrég felújított mennyezet a Deák téri metróállomásról. Megtetszett, ahogyan elrendezték ezeket a lámpákat.
I love these Sunday walks! I was waiting for a bus at Deák tér and liked how the Sun lighted the park - actually the park belongs to Erzsébet tér. Imádom ezeket a vasárnapi sétákat! Buszra vártam a Deák téren, és megtetszett, ahogy a Nap megvilágította a parkot - ami voltaképpen már az Erzsébet tér.
As I was fiddling with my camera, trying to find a good angle, I didn't even look at the three young people coming toward me and playing around, I was only looking at the frame of the picture I wanted to get. But exactly at the moment when I clicked, I perceived that somebody was jumping in front of me and I suspected I caught some good move - here it is: Ahogy ott babráltam a kamerámmal, és egy jó szöget keresgéltem, még csak nem is néztem arra a három játékos kedvű fiatalra, akik felém tartottak, csak azt néztem, hogy hol legyenek majd a kép szélei. De pont abban a pillanatban, amikor exponáltam, érzékeltem, hogy valaki ugrott előttem, és gyanítottam, hogy egy jó mozdulatot kaptam el - íme:

I showed the picture to the guys who liked it a lot - hey man, now you got famous! :-DD Megmutattam a képet a srácoknak, akiknek nagyon tetszett - öregem, most híres lettél! :-DD
I also asked them to name this photo and the boy who jumped said promptly: "The Happiness and I" - which is the title of an old Hungarian pop song, from one of our greatest female singers, the late Zsuzsa Cserháti. Arra is megkértem őket, hogy adjanak címet a fotónak, és a fiú, aki ugrott, rögtön rávágta: "A boldogság és én" - ami egy régi magyar szám, a néhai Cserháti Zsuzsától, egyik legjobb énekesnőnktől.
My dear young friends, I thank you for being my models and wish you to always have reason for jump from happiness :-) Kedves ifjú barátaim, köszönöm, hogy a modelleim lettetek, és kívánom nektek mindig: legyen rá okotok, hogy ugráljatok a boldogságtól :-)
Again, I missed the Subway Day... Már megint lekéstem a Metrónapot...
I was on the road for a week, with no internet at all, in Hungarian parts of Romania. I stayed in this beautiful village, and to make up my delay with the Subway Day, you will see a lot of georgeous pictures in my Travel blog. Egy hétig úton voltam, teljesen internet nélkül, Románia magyarlakta részein. Ebben a faluban; és hogy jóvátegyem a Metrónapos késést, sok-sok mesés képet fogtok látni a Travel blogomban.

Down the tube - an unusually low traffic moment at Deák tér, the station where you can change the lines. Le az alagútba - egy szokatlanul alacsony forgalmú pillanat a Deák téren, ahol át lehet szállni egyik vonalról a másikra.
